Koumori-hime no Densetsu (Legend of the Bat Princesses)

Shiori is a chipper girl with a bright personality and a strong sense of justice. Kasuga is a quiet tomboy more comfortable on the playground than in the classroom. The two girls have nothing in common until one day, the Queen Oracle from the Bat Kingdom grants the two of them magical powers and tasks them with protecting the world. Now the two girls must overcome their differences and fight evil under the watchful guidance of Oracle. Will they be able to save the world AND the Bat Kingdom? Only time will tell!

No, the outcry over Babs being Batgirl again came from all sides. It came from people who were fans of the Oracle character, Cass fans, Steph fans, male fans, female fans, and pretty much anyone who had picked up a Birds of Prey comic ever. Barbara Gordon was the only prominent disabled character DC had. Her existence showed people that you didn’t need to be completely there to be a hero.

Putting her back in the Batgirl costume without a plausible explanation as to how she was able to walk again (‘miracle cure’ does not an explanation make) is the company coming out and saying, “No, sorry, you guys don’t actually matter, so you don’t need representation.”
